About Us
At Observant (Jain Irrigation Australia) we provide farmers with the tools and insights to manage their water as efficiently as possible – an essential mission in the face of droughts, increasing water costs and climate change.
Established in 2003, we have been part of the Australian AgTech industry for over 18 years – and have primarily focussed on developing smart water monitoring and control solutions for the Australian pastoral market. Our aim is to provide farmers with peace of mind by giving them reliable remote access to a complete picture of their system. Water is a critical component of farm management, and through delivering real-time and accurate data, our industry leading solutions have continued to enable our customers to save both time and money.
In 2017, we joined Jain Irrigation, a global company dedicated to the design and delivery of innovative and sustainable irrigation solutions. Our dedicated team in Australia continues to be responsible for technology, sales and support – whilst collaborating and working closely with our larger and similarly focussed US team. Together with Jain Irrigation US, we have developed solutions that have been successfully adopted by the Californian horticultural market during a period of extended drought and water restrictions. Observant’s next focus is to make these solutions available for Australian horticultural growers.
